They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera

They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera is an emotional rollercoaster. It features a bisexual Cuban boy named Mateo and a gay Puerto Rican boy named Rufus. A little after midnight, the two strangers, Mateo Torrez and Rufus Emerterio each receive calls from Death-Cast. See, Death-Cast is an organization that calls individuals the day they’re going to die. Death-Cast doesn’t specify when or how they die, just that in the next 24 hours, they’ll be kicking the bucket. Armed with the fact that they’re dying young, Rufus and Mateo sign up through an app called “Last Friend” to make one final friend. They Both Die at the End details the day-long adventure of Rufus and Mateo’s last day ever.
