Kit DeForge
Kit DeForge is sometimes found at the library, sometimes found making weird puppets, cosplay, art, and movies in their secret lab in Olympia, Wa. They love anything to do with skeletons, cartoons of all kinds, and running Art Jams, where they get really excited for the chance to talk to anyone who loves creating things. They once stacked 37 hats on their head without any of them falling down, and this is still the thing they consider their greatest achievement in life.

ISABEL DEBOER
Isabel DeBoer is often described as shy but once she is comfortable with you, she is (almost) social. She lives with two sisters, two rabbits, and her parents in Puyallup WA. Her favorite things are making art of any kind, watching movies, being outside, running, and of course books. Her favorite genre is fantasy and her favorite book is The Host by Stephenie Meyer.
SANDRAROSA
SandraRosa is a librarian, word nerd, and snail enthusiast. She didn’t grow up in the PNW but it’s definitely one of her favorite places. When she’s not reading or writing, she likes to explore the Puget Sound and daydream about being a full-time novelist. She’s the youngest of six and thinks all her siblings are the coolest people on the planet. Her parents are great too. SandraRosa’s top book recommendation at the moment is Raybearer by Jordan Ifueko.
EMILIE CROCHET
Emilie Crochet is a sophomore at Rogers High School in Puyallup WA. She loves reading, watching movies, doing crafts and spending time with her family. Her favorite favorite book genres include romance, mystery and historical fiction.
OLIVIA LATHROM
Olivia Lathrom is a Freshman at Bethel High School and lives in Graham Washington with her parents, older sister, and goat. She enjoys reading, writing, musicals, binging anime, and you can find her sobbing over books at any hour of the day (or night)
CAITLYN CAVANAUGH
Caitlyn Cavanaugh is a Colorado transplant who enjoys doing stuff with books (reading, reviewing, organizing, smelling…) crafting, tattoos, and cardigans. She does not understand the appeal of tea, which maybe makes her a bad librarian. She knows way too much about the world's largest ball of twine. She loves cosmic horror, and has some very strong opinions about H.P. Lovecraft that she would be happy to share with you.
OLIVIA
Olivia is a 16 year-old sophomore at
Rogers High School with way too much curly, frizzy hair. She loves running, drawing, reading, eating cookies,
watching movies, and petting her pet
rabbits. You can usually find her getting
very wet on an outdoor adventure or
writing biology notes late at night.
Olivia's favorite genre is probably
fantasy, though she will read just
about anything.
IYESHA
Iyesha is a junior at Curtis Senior high school. She is also enrolled at TCC under the Running Start program. During her free time she enjoys listening to music, watching netflix, spending time with her family, and baking. Her recent interests have been crystals and looking at pictures of snakes with hats on. She lives with her parents, older brother, and puppy in University Place. She’s been there her whole life and hopes to travel in coming years.
ELISE BODELL
Elise Bodell is a theater kid and band kid for life. She has lived many places: east coast, west coast, and for 8 months after college, in her two door Toyota Tercel as she drove back and forth across the country until she ran out of money. Elise was probably a cat in a past life, but in this life, her beloved cat is a tortie named Xena the Warrior Princess. She loves to read. Period.
LUCIE FERGUSON
Lucie Ferguson is an artist/reader/sewist/librarian/expert snacker and maker of all sorts of things. She is originally from Portland Oregon, but her heart now belongs to Tacoma. She loves being outside in nature and exploring new places, though it’s a close tie to being indoors with books. Despite not having any pets of her own, she lives for your animal photos!
PALAK
Palak is a sophomore at Fife High School. When she isn’t busy getting annoyed by her younger sister, you can find her wrapped up in a cozy blanket and watching movies. She loves to to an extent that her parents have started dreading the moment she says, “Let’s go somewhere” and she loves to read! She will basically read anything but she loves reading paranormal fiction!
TAYLOR M.
Taylor M. is a freshman who loves her dogs, reading, and the outdoors. She enjoys singing, acting, and playing oboe, percussion, and piano (and failing at guitar). She loves painting alone in her room with classical music in the background, as well. Starting a photography business and publishing a book have been longtime dreams of hers, though that hasn’t happened... yet. You can usually find her outside, a crippled, well-loved book in her arms and camera sitting beside her.
MEGAN
Megan is a freshman at Auburn Riverside High School. In her free time she enjoys listening to music, tap dancing, and reading. You can find her wearing fuzzy socks (with any outfit) and annoying her neighbors by tapping way too late into the night. She lives with her dog and two guinea pigs, who she considers her furry potatoes.​
LALIK
Lalik is 16 years old and a
junior at Curtis Senior High School. He is pretty friendly once you get to know him
and almost always has a smile on his face. And he likes to make others happy. He lives with his parents, two little sisters, and his dog named
Paris in Tacoma, WA. He
loves hanging out with his friends, listening to music, playing video games, spending time with family, and unlike most of his friends, he loves
to read. You can usually find him listening to lofi and getting his homework done.
JACKIE
Jacqueline is a 15 year old sophmore , she currently attends Wilson high school. Just about a year ago she moved from California to Washignton. She has lived in California her whole life! But dont get mistaken she love to travel and has seen lots of other beuatiful states such as Wasighton, Hawaii, Florida, Virginia and more! She is a young entrepreneur and is managing her small business as we speak "Jackie's Canvas". When she is not working out/training for track she enjoys spending time with family and writing song lyrics. She loves using her voice and public speaking/writing skills to advocate for what she need and loves to help people find their voice and advocate for what they need. She also loves to go thrifting and shopping wisley in general. Her favorite school subjects are P.E., English, business and marketing, computer technology, and photography. She is currently tied for the first place award for the Tacoma Ocean Film Festival and can't wait until next year!
Vy is a 17 year old senior at Rogers
High School who is enrolled in the Running Start Program. She was born
in Vietnam and immigrated to America
in 2006. Not only does she love her culture and native roots, but she
admires the way it has shaped her childhood growing up as an Asian-American. She loves listening to
music and watching movies, especially horror movies. In her life, she is very practical and remains realistic in her choices and decisions. Although she hasn’t found her passion yet, this gives her more freedom to explore many different majors and vocations that will best utilize her skills. She’s also very open-minded and loves listening to others.
VY
JOSCELYN
Joscelyn is a 14-year-old introverted freshman, who has been online schooled since 3rd grade. She can never decide on what her hobbies are but can be found on the dance floor, in the kitchen, crying in her room, or laughing with her sister in a zoom. She enjoys bugging her friends, baking for others, taking landscape and in-motion photos, reading till 1am, and dancing in the kitchen. She is devoted to helping others, journaling, learning about her Polynesian lineage, and finding the perfect frosting consistency!
